Welcome to the 12th edition of the most popular 2-day mountain biking stage race in Gauteng - 

The Cool Ideas Cradle Mountain Trophy.

This two-day mountain biking event always promises to be an exhilarating experience and will take place over the weekend of 5th and 6th of June 2021.

You get to choose your distance.

75km and 45km on Saturday and Sunday

or

75km only on Saturday

or

45km only on Sunday

or

30km only on Sunday

This is without a doubt the most popular, engaging and spectacular 2-day event in and around Gauteng.

We are pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting The Cool Ideas Cradle Mountain Trophy at The Old Mill at Happy Acres, situated just outside Magaliesburg. 

If you have done this mountain biking event before, you will know that The Cool Ideas Cradle Mountain Trophy promises a fantastic offering of single track, plus some challenging off-road and, of course, some good technical aspects. But do remember that we call this the “Mountain Trophy” for good reason. It is not all flat. We will be making good use of tracks and trails which have previously been used for private events.

If you are training for the Epic, Berg ’n Bush or other postponed races, then this must be an event that’s on your training schedule.
